Welcome to Mission Valley Cougars
Football & Cheer Program

WHO WE ARE:
Mission Valley Cougars is a competitive, full tackle youth football and competitive
cheerleading program. Since 2008, we've been serving the East Bay Area of
Fremont, Newark and Union City, California -- but kids from all regions of the
Bay Area are welcome here!

We're the first in the East Bay to participate in all-year round tackle football.

Mission Valley Cougars Football & Cheer is proud to be affiliated with nationally
recognized United Youth Football & Cheer League.

Mission Valley Cougars Football a& Cheer has partnered with USA Football to
ensure a positive youth football experience by providing benefits for its players,
parents and coaches through USA Football’s League Affiliation membership. USA
Football is the sport’s national governing body in the United States and is the
official youth football development partner of the NFL and its 32 teams.

Mission Valley Cougars Football & Cheer Program is a non-profit organization
whose mission is to:

Provide under-privilege youth with organized competition in a safe
environment
Fight childhood obesity with “One Play At A Time” by offering unlimited
weights
Giving every child the opportunity to play upon the grade based peers
Bring our youth closer together through common interest in sportsmanship
and competition
Teach sportsmanship, discipline and community enrichment
Encourage the participants to maintain satisfactory grades in school and to
emphasize the importance of keeping a proper relationship and balance
between scholastic and athletic endeavors
